This five-day intensive explores the craft of songwriting. Designed for writers at every level – from someone working on their first song to experienced and published writers – this course examines what makes a song memorable, singable, emotionally compelling, and lasting.

Lead Communicator: Cliff Duren
Cliff Duren is the Executive Pastor of Music & Worship at First Baptist Church Dallas, TX. He has also served in multiple roles at First Baptist Church Woodstock, GA and Brentwood Baptist Church in the Nashville area. In addition, Cliff is a song writer, arranger, orchestrator, and producer for various church music publishers and Christian artists.
He is, without a doubt, the most prolific and in-demand arranger/orchestrator in the Christian music business.
This five-day intensive explores the craft of arranging and orchestrating. Composers of every level are welcome as we walk through various ways to approach a vocal arrangement. Then, we’ll breakdown each section of the orchestra and explore how they work together in any given orchestration.
